About

History
Botanix Inc is a 501c3 organization that was formed in 1992 as an alternate funding shelter for money earned by the Colorado Master Gardeners of El Paso County.  To be held in the Botanix account, money was earned by Colorado Master Gardeners or Certified Colorado Gardeners without the use of county equipment or facilities or was earned in fundraising activities for Botanix.

Activities
This money can be applied for by current active Colorado Master Gardeners in the county (when the Colorado Master Gardener program in El Paso County is active) and spent on items or projects that will benefit the Colorado Master Gardener program as a whole; it may also be applied for by any non-profit group needing funds to support free, publicly available horticultural education in the county.

The members of the Botanix board will announce application proposal “open” periods and board meeting dates to decide on funding approval for those proposed applications. Those announcements will appear on the home page of this web site.
